Jamaica Depot - Pronouned "Deepoh" - is a Jamaica marketplace built for sellers and buyers in Jamaica. We combine vendor storefronts with two additional categories: automotives and real estate. Our main focus is vendor storefronts—where creators and small businesses sell handmade and curated goods. We handle the heavy lifting: integrated shipping with Jamaica Post for nationwide delivery, payment integrations that send money straight to your bank account (or to LYNK if you don't have a bank account), and a professional seller dashboard with statistics, coupons, and printable shipping labels. For cars and properties, we act as a classifieds section with strict rules: every automotive listing must include mileage and VIN or chassis number, and both automotive and real estate listings require video evidence. That way buyers can get a full vehicle report before spending and see what they're really getting. In short, Jamaica Depot makes it easy for buyers to make informed decisions and for vendors to run their shops without worrying about payments or shipping.

Yes. Opening a storefront on the Jamaica Depot marketplace is free. There are no upfront fees and no monthly subscriptions. You only pay when you list and when you sell: 25 cents (USD) per item you list in your storefront, and a 5% commission - only when an item sells. So you can start selling with no financial risk. The Jamaica Depot marketplace is mainly for handmade and curated goods, not mass-produced items. We focus on unique, quality products that reflect the creativity of Jamaican sellers. All vendors get full professional tools: dashboard, coupons, shipping labels, and more.

Automotive and real estate on Jamaica Depot work like classifieds with strong quality controls. For vehicles, sellers must enter the mileage and VIN or chassis number before a listing can go live. Buyers can then take that VIN or chassis number to our service page and get a full report on the vehicle before they succumb to buyer's remorse. For both automotive and real estate, video evidence is mandatory. That way buyers see the actual condition of the car or property. The goal is to give buyers the information they need to make informed decisions.

When a buyer pays for an item, the money is sent to the vendor through our payment integrations. In most cases it goes straight to the vendor's bank account. If a vendor doesn't have a bank account, they can use LYNK to collect payments instead. So every seller can get paid, whether they're banked or not.

Yes. Jamaica Depot handles shipping for vendor storefronts. We're integrated with couriers across Jamaica, with Jamaica Post as the primary option for nationwide shipping within Jamaica. Sellers can print shipping labels from their dashboard. For international destinations, see "Can I ship internationally?" below.

Within Jamaica, Jamaica Post is our primary option for nationwide delivery. For international shipping, the situation depends on the destination. As of 2026, Jamaica Post has not resumed standard parcel and packet shipping of merchandise to the United States due to U.S. trade policy changes (Executive Order 14324), which changed how duties are collected on incoming mail. Documents and letters to the U.S. are unaffected; parcels containing goods are currently not accepted via Jamaica Post to the U.S. For orders to the United States, vendors should use private couriers (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS), which have their own systems for duties and are fully operational—though more expensive than postal rates. For other international routes (e.g. Canada, the UK, the Caribbean), Jamaica Post services such as FastTrack remain available for merchandise. We recommend budgeting for private courier costs if you plan to sell to the U.S. market at launch, and we will keep vendors informed when postal options change.

Jamaica Depot Inc. is a privately held Delaware Corporation. At this stage, our capital requirements and $1,000,000 Buyer Protection Fund are fully settled through our internal founding group and institutional framework. We are not seeking local private investment or individual partnerships at this time. Our primary focus is the success of our vendors and the integrity of our 'Registry of Truth.' If you wish to grow with the platform, the most effective way to participate is by securing your position as a Founding Vendor through our waitlist.

Only four regions may sell on Jamaica Depot: USA, Jamaica, Canada, and Asia. Jamaica is the primary region and can sell on the platform inclusively. Vendors in the other three regions (USA, Canada, and Asia) may register for a vendor storefront, but only as a Bulk, Wholesale, or Supplier vendor.
